In today’s day & age, the water in urban cities tends to be hard and alkaline (pH>7) due to the concrete canals and waterways that transports the water. This water which is hard and alkaline is not suited for growing aquatic plants as they cannot absorb the required macro and micro nutrients in this situation. Green Brighty Neutral K addresses this problem wherein by adding CO2 to the aquarium, the pH drops and the Green Brighty Neutral K offers no buffering mechanism, thereby, bringing the pH to an optimal level where plants can absorb majority of the supplied nutrients.
