On a hot April Friday, we welcomed participants to the ADA School of Aquascaping – Level A Programme, all bright-eyed and filled with anticipation.
Among them was our youngest participant to date, 13-year-old Mohamad Farhan. He joined this batch as a special exception, made possible by the constant encouragement and follow-up from his father, Ashraf—himself a graduate of the ASA Level A Programme. Ashraf strongly believes in his son’s talent and sees him as a budding prodigy.
We had already witnessed Farhan’s abilities through various competitions, including the Hardscape Competition at Aquagic, as well as through his YouTube videos—and he certainly lived up to those expectations.
This was an exceptional batch in many ways. A majority of the participants hailed from “God’s Own Country,” Kerala, nestled along the Western Ghats, bringing with them a strong sense of passion and dedication. The group also included two practicing medical professionals and a gentleman whose ever-smiling presence and distinctive long hair added to the character of the batch.
The team performed admirably, and the feedback reflected their positive experience. Participants appreciated the professionalism demonstrated by the SWA team, with many noting that the programme exceeded their expectations.
We wish them all the very best and look forward to seeing them continue this journey with us in our shared mission: “We Have A Dream….”
